The numbers are huge: in 2016, more than 300.000 people were in Milan during that week. Apart from the exhibition, there are a lot of parties and events that go under the name of <a href=\"http:\/\/fuorisalone.it\/2016\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fuorisalone\u200b<\/a>, it\u2019s an occasion to meet the big names of the Design, but also young and excellent designers from all over the world. Here are our picks from last year\u2019s happenings during the most important week of the year.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/magazinetest.atomic4dev.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/2.png\" alt=\"2\" width=\"975\" height=\"690\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10633\" srcset=\"https:\/\/magazinetest.atomic4dev.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/2.png 975w, https:\/\/magazinetest.atomic4dev.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/2-300x212.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 975px) 100vw, 975px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Credenza<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Brera\u2019s Spazio Pontaccio gallery is presenting \u201cCredenza\u201d a capsule collection created by the minds of the architect Patricia Urquiola and the graphic designer Federico Pepe (Le Dictateur). Graphics are inspired by the artist Gerhard Richter\u2019s stained\u00adglass windows for the Cologne Cathedral. The name \u201cCredenza\u201d has a double meaning in Italian \u2014 it can indicate either a sideboard or one\u2019s beliefs. Design and religion: different worlds that mix up in this colorful and peculiar collection of design\u2019s objects.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/magazinetest.atomic4dev.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/3.png\" alt=\"3\" width=\"975\" height=\"650\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10634\" srcset=\"https:\/\/magazinetest.atomic4dev.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/3.png 975w, https:\/\/magazinetest.atomic4dev.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/3-300x200.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 975px) 100vw, 975px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ladies and Gentlemen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A new generation of designers showed how Italy\u2019s classic craftsmanship and the traditions of the past could be transformed. The location: a wonderful and antique house in the center of Milan. Ceramic tiles were reimagined, lamps, couches and textiles were reinvented by PS, Secondonome, Icon Design, Giorgia Zanellato, Coralla Maiuri and new designers (Servomuto, Studiopepe, Mingardo and the swedish firm Studio Henzel).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/magazinetest.atomic4dev.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/4.png\" alt=\"4\" width=\"975\" height=\"548\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10635\" srcset=\"https:\/\/magazinetest.atomic4dev.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/4.png 975w, https:\/\/magazinetest.atomic4dev.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/4-300x169.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 975px) 100vw, 975px\" \/><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"text-center\"><a class=\"btn btn-primary btn-lg bg-turquoise\" style=\"text-decoration: none; padding-left: 30px; padding-right: 30px;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gopopup.com\/en\/spaces\/milan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Open your Pop-Up Store in Milan<\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Marni Ballhaus<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Marni presented a connection between three worlds: design, fashion and dance, in one big exhibition\/event. Its headquarters turned into a public ballroom of Colombian Cumbia dancers. Colombia was the main inspiration for a collection of chairs and furnitures with bright and vivid colours, but also for skirts and necklaces that Marni created especially for this particular event.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/magazinetest.atomic4dev.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/5.png\" alt=\"5\" width=\"975\" height=\"558\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10636\" srcset=\"https:\/\/magazinetest.atomic4dev.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/5.png 975w, https:\/\/magazinetest.atomic4dev.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/5-300x172.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 975px) 100vw, 975px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>During the Design Week is possible to visit the Exhibition itself, in Rho Fiera, and to be part of the exclusive events of Fuorisalone, to live a 360\u00b0 experience.
